Use Shell Method and/or Disk/Washer Method. Find the volume of the solid formed by revolving the region bounded by:

1. y = x² + 2, y = 2, x = 0 and x = 3 about

a. x-axis

DISK METHOD Outer Radius = x² + 2 - 0 = x² + 2 , Inner Radius = 0

SHELL METHOD width = dy, avg radius = y, heights = 3 and

b. y = 2

DISK METHOD Outer Radius = x² + 2 - 2 = x², Inner Radius = 0

SHELL METHOD width = dy, avg radius = y, height =
